  • Adult Therapy
  • Couples Counseling
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Psychological Testing
  • Forensic Evaluations

Child Psychotherapy begins with an assessment of the child's anxieties, moods, strengths, and areas in which the child meets or falls below the developmental levels usually achieved at his or her age. This knowledge is then shared with the parents to assist them in their parenting roles in a way that is best suited to meet the child's needs at this time. If treatment of the child is indicated, and desired by the parents, these insights are of great value.

Adult Psychotherapy follows the same assessment pattern. Treatment is designed to help adults increase their understanding of themselves, with the goal of reducing upsets and mood fluctuations. When their feelings change and they are able to respond in a different manner, people become less upset.

Post-traumatic stress disorder is treated with specific techniques designed to reduce the level of upset triggered by the memory of the disturbing event.
